Hi, I have implemented MySQLPHPgrid on a hosted server, but guess what, they won't allow any kind of Ajax 'call back', even though it's not cross-domain in MySQLPHPgrid. So it has crippled my lovely app, which relies heavily on MySQLPHPgrid.
Rather than going to the expense of getting a second hosting provider, does anyione know of a way around this? Cheers, Dave

Well, if a hosting provider doesn't allow Ajax callback's then many of today's applications won't run on their servers. So I don't think removing Ajax is a good direction. If you really want a version of MySQLPHPGrid that doesn't use Ajax, try one of the earlier versions.
In fact, the coming version of MySQLPHPGrid will probably use even more Ajax callbacks (also for sorting, pagination etc.) to make it even more efficient.

Olav

Hi Olav,
Thanks for that...which is the latest non-Ajax version of MySQLPHPgrid?
Also, can you recommend a hosting provider that doesn't choke on in-domain Ajax?
Thanks

Version 0.5.1 is the latest version not using Ajax.

No idea. I don't know that error.
Maybe it's best to try the new version which will be released shortly.
regards, Olav
